does anyone know if there exists video footage, either commercial or bootleg, of Jerry with Legion of Mary, Jerry & Merl, or JGB during the years '72 to '76?

This is only a precious few seconds, but given the lack of what you're looking for maybe it makes it all the more interesting.
Jerry is shown in this clip from the movie "Hell's Angels Forever" with Merl Saunders, John Kahn, and Billy K. playing "That's All Right Mama." The music starts at about 1:45, the band is seen starting at about 2:00.

wow, thank you so much for that link, it's only a precious few glimpses of the 'band', but precious moments on film indeed! do you happen to know the date of that performance?

No. It's always been a real puzzle to me.
A few thoughts: Deadbase lists the first half or so of '74 as a time when Jerry's side band consisits of these three individuals, but I think Jerry was beardless durng that period. Another clue is he's not playing the Travis Bean guitar so I think that rules out '76 and '77?
That's as far as I get I'm afraid.

A video in German on why "acqua blue" is an aphrodisiac color? Maybe, I went to the wrong link...

Tell him that Swedish might be a "prettier" language to learn.

thanks micah, i strongly suspected NOT, but listening to '74-75 Jerry last nite and most nites the past several months, i've built up this pretty strong urge to check out the man in action during those and the surrounding years, with his non-GD bands; if a genie appeared to me, and offered me the choice of a scintillating, uncirculated '68 GD show, sbd quality, or, a less-than-stellar, grainy but close-up, video recording of Jerry & Merl, circa '74, right now i'd choose the latter w/o any doubt what-so-ever

ps: thanks for the links
